3. Why we collect it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- To answer your questions and trade or wholesale enquiries.
- To keep financial and tax records that the law requires us to keep.

Giving us your information is voluntary. However, we need your name, contact details and delivery address to process and deliver an order. If you do not provide them, we cannot complete your order.
5. Laws that require us to keep information
Tax law requires us to keep records of sales, including invoices and order details, for at least five years. The Consumer Protection Act, 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 also set rules for how we deal with you as a customer.
6. Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need to do their job:

- Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), to measure website use and advertising results.
- Our review service provider, if you leave a product review.

7. Information sent outside South Africa
Some of our service providers, such as Google, store information on servers outside South Africa. We only use providers that are bound by data protection laws or agreements that give your information a level of protection similar to POPIA.
8. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep items in your cart, keep you logged in and make checkout work. The shop does not work without these.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics that tell us how visitors use the site. This information is grouped and does not tell us who you are.
- Advertising cookies from Google that tell us whether our ads led to a visit or sale.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to place an order.
9. How we protect your information
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to customer information is limited to staff and service providers who need it. If we become aware of a security breach that affects your information, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
10. How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for five years, as tax law requires. We keep other information, such as contact form messages, only for as long as we need it to deal with your request, after which we delete it.

- ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need or are not allowed to keep;
