How hot is “04 Extra Hot” really?
Our Heat Meter runs from 01 Mild (all flavour, gentle warmth) to 04 Extra Hot (our hottest — questionable life choices territory). Not sure? Start at 02 Medium: it’s the level our original Portuguese Sauce sits at, and the one that built the name.
Do you deliver across South Africa?

The very same. Every bottle starts from Jorge Calisto’s original 1992 recipes, made in The Sauce Kitchen — the family facility that grew out of the original Calisto’s Portuguese restaurant in Turffontein.
